I love going home, I really do miss the rain and the people. The last few years the only time I have gone home is during the holidays (mostly Christmas) so it was really nice to head up there in the spring.
This time I spent a majority of my trip IN Seattle, and let me just say it is my favorite city…my FAVORITE.
Some fun things I did while there…
-I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding, it was seriously the most amazing wedding! (ha although I have NO pictures)
-Spent the night in a Seattle hotel with Austin…kid free!
-Met up with my best friend (who recently moved back up to WA) We had a day of fun in Seattle!
-Went on a tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory
-Ate delicious food
-Attempted to fall in love with doughnuts. Yes it is true I have NEVER liked doughnuts. I mean they are adorable but I have never really liked the dry cakie taste. We went to Top Pot doughnuts and they were eh…
-Took Rowe to Pike Place
-Showed Rowe the “Gum Wall” and he touched it…multiple times (GAG!)
-Tried some MORE doughnuts at this little cart in Pike Place…and can you believe it?? I LOVED THEM! But only the cinnamon sugar ones that came right off the fryer. So liking doughnuts was a success. They just need to be small, fresh, hot and soooo soft!
-Went on the HUGE new ferris wheel by the water
-Hung with Family
-Saw old friends
AND
Played in the rain
