Ok who doesn’t love a good photo backdrop?!  I made this one for the Mermade Market, a fun craft fair in Dana Point, and love how it turned out!  It actually is very simple, and with the right colors can be so awesome!!  Also, you will fall in love with fringe scissors, trust me!  They are glorious.

Supplies:

-Colored Paper
Fringe Scissors
Glue gun
-Canvas Backdrop

Cut out strips of paper.  I cut out 3 strips per sheet, and make sure you cut the long way.

Cut the edge of each piece of paper with your fringe scissors.

Lay pieces in a diamond shape, starting at the top of the canvas.  Make sure fringe is facing out.

After you lay out your design, it is time to glue.  Using your hot glue gun, glue down each piece individually.  Only glue the non fringe part of the paper.  I worked with one diamond at a time.  Then your done!  Now go take some pictures :)
