LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER: PART 2

Living-Room-Makeover-Ideas-

Renting can be frustrating…It’s hard to accept a gross brown carpet, popcorn ceilings, or wall colors I am not in love with.  BUT things are not all lost, we have been renting for awhile and I do believe you can make your space beautiful regardless of all the uglies you can’t change.  I teamed up with World Market to show just that, and how to give your living room a fun boho feel.  Their new fall line is amazing check it out here!
The first part of my decorating process was my gallery wall you can find that post here.  Next was adding some fun boho pieces and finalizing the living room.
Adding a few colorful pieces here and there really can add so much character to a room, and doesn’t need to break the bank in the process.  One tip is to buy a few pieces all at once and not wait so long in between.  By doing this you can buy from the same collection and it makes decorating a lot easier (especially if you are like me and NOT a professional).  You don’t need to go out and spend thousands but it can really help make it cohesive.

Here are my favorites and what I used to give our living room that boho feel:

I love statement pieces in living rooms, can really make a difference. We had a rug from Ikea with a huge moose on it and used it to style the rest of our apartment :)

Oh my gosh that rug sounds amazing! And so true! It really helps bring everything together :)

Turned out so beautiful! I love that it’s simple, but there’s still a good amount of color pops <3
