SUPPLIES FOR DIY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN MADELEINE COOKIES
–Madeleine Cookies (I got mine at Costco)
–Green Candy Melts
–White Candy Melts
-Chocolate Chips
–Heart Sprinkles
–Black Nonpareils (I got mine at Michaels for $1)
–Decorating Bag
–#3 Wilton tip
-Melt Green Candy Melts (make sure the consistency is smooth).
-Dip the bottom of the madeleine cookie into the melted candy.
-Press in heart sprinkle for lips.
-Let harden.
-Melt chocolate chips (you can add some coconut oil to make the consistency smoother, but add very little at a time).
-Dip the top part of the cookie into the chocolate.
-Then take a knife and smooth the chocolate down towards the green candy melt face. You can really shape the hair this way and even drag the knife through the hair making lines.
-Let harden. -Lastly melt the white candy melts.
-Put the melted candy into a pipping bag. (put very little and be fast so it doesn’t harden or its hard to push through the tube)
-Draw on the hair stripe and two dots for eyes.
-Take the black nonpareils and push them into the whites of the eyes.
-Let dry then serve and eat!
They will be a new Halloween party favorite!
