Ode to a Peep!
As I browse the stores in New Zealand I have felt a little lost….as though something is missing from those rows and rows of Easter candy. And what is missing you may ask? PEEPS!! Yes I am one of THOSE people. The ones that love those marshmallow sugar covered yummy treats. I have always received a lot of abuse for my love. Which has actually befitted me most Easters, because I have always found a home for those unwanted peeps from friends and family. So at this time, I will be having an Easter basket void of Peeps and I am sad. Yes I know they have Halloween peeps, Christmas peeps and pretty much every single holiday, BUT its just not the same.
So for all of those out there that DO love peeps I hope you feel my pain as I am here in a peep-less New Zealand.
and a little further information…did you know there is a peep website? AND a fan club. ha ha just FYI!
