This is officially my first coaster DIY and I’m pretty excited about it. I mean, I have lived without coasters since forever, but now that I have them I am pretty happy. These crushed glass coasters only takes 3 steps and involves the most fabulous glue/magic. Learn how to make these before you get those ring stains! Hurry ;)
SUPPLIES:
–Cork Coasters
–Decorative Fillers (I used crushed glass filler, but you could use other kinds)
–Spray Paint
–Mod Podge Dimensional Magic Glue
-Spray paint you coaster.
-Take your decorative filler and fill your coasters. You don’t want to put in too much, just a thin layer.
-Take your dimensional magic and start to fill in the coasters.
-Submerge the filler in the glue so nothing is sticking out. One container of dimensional magic will fill 4 coasters.
-Let dry for about 24 hours.
these are so pretty!! I need to try these! is there a substitute for the magic glue as I don’t get that here?xx

These are so cool! Love them!
This is a great way to use all those plastic lids that are not recyclable. I will just have to include felt or cork on the bottom.
that is a great idea!
About how much crushed glass would you need for all 4 coasters?
You actually don’t need much at ALL! I had a pretty large bag and only used about 1/4 of it, if that. I would say maybe about 1 1/2 cups?
