SUPPLIES
-WOOD BOX
PATTERNING TAPE
ACRYLIC PAINT
PAINT BRUSH
CRICUT WHITE VINYL
CRICUT TRANSFER PAPER
CRICUT MACHINE

-Remove metal card holder from the box.  These pop right off and are easy to remove.

-It’s time to paint.  Take your patterning tape and start tapping off the design.  I started at the bottom of the box and worked my way up towards the opening.

-Press the tape down a few times so that its flush against the wood, this prevents the paint from bleeding.  Then paint over your design.

-When the paint is dry start to peel off the tape.  Then repeat on each side of the box.

-Next its time to paint the lid.  Paint the inside of the lid and then the outer parts.  I left the top of the box unpainted.
-Now its time for the vinyl sticker.  Set up your template or phrase on your cricut machine.  Then print it out, remove excess vinyl.

-Next get your transfer tape and cut out a section the size of your vinyl.  Stick on and then peel back to remove from the sticky sheet.

-Place and center your phrase, then stick.  Press down on the letter and then peel off the transfer tape.

Lastly fill your new painted wood boxes with all kinds of goodies!  Your friends will love them!
