The 4th of July is quite the crazy day in Huntington, or anywhere in California.
Coming from Washington I never knew the 4th could be such a crazy party.
Starting the day out with the parade…always a little boring ha ha, but the cool cars were exciting for our little man. Eventually we all lose interest (has anyone stayed through an entire parade before?) and headed home to go and relax.

Enjoyed some family BBQ time and then we rode bikes down to the beach to watch the fireworks show
Finishing off the day with our own little pyrotechnics in the street. Rowe was all about it… including stepping on pop-its barefoot, lighting up about 50 sparklers and helping daddy with some of the bigger fireworks.
it was a fun day :) And after all the craziness is over, I sure am proud to be an American!
